Press Release Body: With the semi-final match that made the audience reach a new
high, the match saw superb competition between the Lahore Badshahs and the Kolkata
Tigers. The Lahore Badshahs registered their win in the second semi-final match
against them by seven runs. Klusner from the Kolkata Tigers team was awarded the Man
of the Match for his 91 runs off just 57 balls but he could not get the much
required victory for his team.

The Badshahs won the toss and chose to bat first. The decision was taken so as to
put pressure on the Kolkata Tigers team which they did well with the formidable
score that they put up of 182 runs. The start was not very great for the Badshahs
and they lost their first wicket in the very first over. But they were not let down
by this and gained the requirement momentum under the aegis of Humayun Farhat who
came in after his brother and Imran Nazir. These players got some good runs for
their team. Hasan Raza was caught for a duck which disappointed a lot. But the
middle and lower order batsmen handled the game well and reached to the target of
183 runs for Kolkata Tigers.

When the Tigers came in to bat, there were no signs of any struggle that happened to
occur. Instead the openers seemed pretty calm and composed. Dasgupta managed to
score 22 runs before he was dismissed in the seventh over. Klusner however stay put
on the field and struggled with his bat to get some good hits. With these hits he
managed to pull his team score a great deal. However the efforts from the other
batsmen seemed insufficient as the run rate was very controlled by the Badshahs
bowlers. Klusner was dismissed on the very last delivery that was bowled. The team
ran short of just 7 runs and lost the match to the Lahore Badshahs who have been
undefeated as yet in the Edelweiss Challenge.
